i recommend NCO, it's absolutely great value for the money. even though it's 5
years old by now. i have some chessbase opening CDs, and while they are nice to
have, NCO is just an absolutely great reference to openings. of course i also
have the current megabase, to check whether assessments given in NCO have
changed, but that's all you need IMO. i think my whole team in the swiss league
has NCO and loves it, we're all rated around 2300.
