Subject: What happened to Gerald Wright's Flame of Tiger?

Author: Jasmine Baer

A few minutes ago, I read a message by "Gerald Wright" which was written in
response to an earlier message about Chess Tiger's difficulties with Shredder.
In the message, Mr. Wright claimed that CT "Sucks," so I responded with my
limited results of using CT on playchess.com. Now, I can't find Mr. Wright's
message, or my response to his flame.

I was hoping it would stay on the board because I wanted to see Christophe
Theron's response.

I don't think Chess Tiger "Sucks" against Shredder. Shredder is World Champ, so
most programs should experience some difficulties against it. Anyway, here's
how my CT 15 has fared against all comers on playchess.com (mostly 5+0 or 3+2
Blitz games, nothing greater than 5+0, and nothing shorter than 3+0):

Fritz 7: 5+ 3= 3-
Fritz 8: 5+ 7= 3-
Shredder 7.04: 2+ 5= 5-
Deep Fritz 8: 1+ 2= 1-
Deep Fritz 7: 1+ 2= 4-
Junior 8: 0+ 2= 1-

Overall: 14+ 21= 17-

My PC is only a P4 2.0 GHz with 480 MB of RAM. I'm sure that in many cases,
I've been outmuscled by a multi-processor. I am rarely the one with a faster
PC.
