I have to say that I agree with Uri here. You don't have to necessarily create
your own book format, but keeping the book seperate from the GUI (so that you
can use it in any GUI) is a good idea IMO.

If more people did this, we wouldn't be having all of this CCT opposition by the
commercial authors. They could implement Winboard support and play, and so could
you.

The point is, you have unlimited flexibility with how you handle your book if it
is handled from within the engine.
