And as >black you will probably have to solve some problems after the opening phase to >properly equalize the game. huh? as i said, half of my team, all rated around 2300, use that book and we all love it! many of us have won games straight out of NCO. of course when you play against GM opposition, then NCO is not enough. but you can't expect that from a one-volume-encyclopedia, IMO. for all the rest, it is by far good enough! i wish my opening repertoire was only half as good as what i can find in NCO... cheers martin
