Search engines e.g. Google, Lycos are in fact liable for the content they provide links to. That´s why most search engines have a privacy policy and even have deletion or exclusion facilities. It´s easier to stay far away from controversial material than to get involved. Slander is a serious crime that may involve serious fines even if you live in Romania.
