This is exactly what happened in the last WCCC when programmers played against list. If this is your opinion then why did programmers agree to play against List instead of deciding before the tournament that nobody play against list because the author is not present. All programmers could say in the beginning of the tournament that they do not play against list because the author is not present and prevent list's participation. I do not know if there was a similiar problem with other programs. I support this action in the next WCCC that I will probably participate in it but I am going to do it only if other programmers agree about it because I am not going to be the only player to get technical loss for refusing to play.
