I realize that it is possible to still get a win out of NCO. But that can ony happen if your opponent is lazy, forgetful or thinks he has found a cook. An opponent with a mature, well rounded opening repertoire will get a comfortable game against the NCO lines without fail. I have checked both my own and some teammates opening repertoires against NCO a while ago. And there was nothing to fear as black. In Pirc, Tarrasch, Dragon, Sveshnikov and Grunfeld black could even count on an initiative in a multitude of lines. MvH Dan Andersson
