Thanks for the match info. Its nice to see how some of the top contenders play under unusual conditions. So it looks like if I want to stand a chance against my PC chess opponents I should drop the books, tb and pondering. :) Its interesting to see how strong List5.04 is. A very impressive new challenger. Have you tried Deep Sjeng? Another program that has caught my interest. Why was Rebel 12 dropped? I have Rebel Century 4 and find it plays with a challenging style. Rebel 12 is on my shopping list. From what I have read it is stronger than Century, plus I can run it in the ChessPartner Windows interface which is a plus. You know what would be interesting is to find a human volunteer that plays a strong game of chess and have them play some informal tourneys against the top PC opponents. It would make for a very interesting set of games I think, especially if commentary was supplied. Play human vs PC w/no book, tb, no pond, and also a round with book/tb/pond on. That would be cool. Thanks again for sharing your results with us, Matt
