NCO often has multiple different variations given for both sides, it's up to you to choose which you want to play. of course some of them may not be quite right, but most are good. i can easily believe that the sveshnikov is not well covered, since that has seen a lot of top-level games with important novelties since the date NCO was written. but in openings like the dragon and the tarrasch i find it hard to believe that NCO is so far off the mark. perhaps we could organize a match between your team and mine; my team is white on all boards and we're allowed to bring NCO along ;-) cheers martin
