Mind you, I do not need this upgrade, as I now have Fritz 8. Since I also have Fritz 8 on my second computer, and I still have the Fritz 7 program on that computer as well, and really did not care what happened to the GUI, I figured I would give it a try just to see if the engine would update. This is after the upgrade. The engine is the same as it was after I last upgraded over a year ago as shown below. Version: 7, 0, 0, 8 Modified: Monday, May 20, 2002 12:51:50 AM Getting back to the recent upgrade. All it did for my Fritz 7 GUI is convert it to SPANISH. I do not know if there are any other changes that were the result of the upgrade as I cannot read Spanish. So, if you are planning on trying this upgrade, keep that in mind. Regards, Brian
