They got the attention of the ISP and for the money involved ($0), it is clearly not an item that one would want to spend time or money on your own lawyers. I would not reccomend for anyone to hold it unless you are willing to deal with lawyers on a regular basis. I was actually contacted by one of the lawyers involved and I can tell you it is something that you do not want to be part of -- unless you like spend money on lawyers with no reward. The lawyer is good, he had a client that had clearly been injured (IMO) and it appeared that the perpertrator (not his client) may have been involved in a very nasty criminal enterprise that no one would want to happen to him. Without going into more details - never signup for any membership on the internet with a password that is same password for your personal e-mail account. An unscrupolous internet web operator will try to hack into your personal email account with the same password that you provided him. He will learn who you are, where you live, and whatever else someone could learn about you by going your through e-mails. So if you have login anywhwere on the net, that has the same password as your email account - change your email account password pronto!
