The asymmetry in king safety can easily be turned down or off, with the "eval asymmetry N" command. analysis mode uses "eval asym 0" which eliminates the biggest part of the asymmetry. However it can be confusing when "project" kibitzes a score and "crafty" kibitzes for the same depth and the score/PV is a bit different.
