Yes it is costly, but
(a) you can stop the FH singularity probe searches as soon as you
find another move that proves that the move is not FH singular.
(b) You have the depth reduction of 2 plies exactly because of this
problem.
I don't think it is worth the hassle, and it is very weird to
implement :)
