Hi participants! Since quite a number of computers where involved in the perft(11) calulation I decided to continue and try perft(12) too. I'd like to welcome the new users, actually the current list is topped by Tinker a new participant. I guess that some other strong counter will make it hard to keep that top position but who knows. Quite some participants seems to have dropped of and I hope that many of them will be back. Current calculationspeed indicates that problem solution will take some 200 days, but I think we will get a much higher calculation rate tomorrow when most 'old' problems from perft(11) are not in the buffer any more. I also hope that some more people will start computers to do some calculations over the christmas holiday. During the holiday I'm planning to improve the client a bit so if you have any suggestions mail me and let me know. I think that a little board showing the current position would be nice. /Regards Albert
