Subject: NCO Blunder in the King's Knight's Gambit?

On page 296 footnote 3 the following line is given in Nunn's Chess Openings.
The recommended move is 13.Ne5! Bb7 14.Nf3 with a complex but roughly balanced
evaluation.  What is wrong with 13.Nxf8?  An obvious blunder in NCO or is there
a deeper line Chessmaster and Genius 7 fails to see?
