The Senator module has the Fritz World Championship program that best the Deep Blue prototype in 1995 (maybe 96) I forget exactly. The Milano Pro, Mephisto Atlanta and the Senator (also the "new" Saitek Master - which is not really new except for the skin) share the same program - although the processors could be different. With has tables, it solves Fine #70 relatively quickly, without hash tables, it takes along time. I used to own the Milano Pro and the Atlanta and ran this test on both machine. The Atlanta had hash tables and solved it relatively qucikly. The Milano Pro went over 3 minutes (if my memory is correct) without a solution . [d] 8/k7/3p4/p2P1p2/P2P1P2/8/8/K7 w - - 0 1 Kb1! is the correct move. I run this test on all dedicated machines and pDa programs. All the top pocket pc programs (Genius, Grandmaster, Fritz) get this instantly. On my Palm Vx, no chess program got this in a reasonable amount of time.
