I just got the new DVD Endgame Turbo and it includes the ending Tablebase 3.0, which is required to read the six-piece databases. I previously had no luck using the 6-piece bases with 2.0. DVD Endgame Turbo also includes an update of the Fritz 8 engine so it can access the six-piece sets. (Hiarcs 9 can as well, so it says, although I didn't have success with the ones I downloaded before I got the DVDs.) The access is not seamless and is different depending on whether you are using the Fritz 8 engine under ChessBase or the Fritz interface. It can't access them in the engine's search tree under the ChessBase interface.
