Crafty might have a hash bug, perhaps related to repetition detection. In the following position, it plays h5, which it thinks leads to a draw by repetition. Instead, it loses pretty fast. I have been able to get it to show the h5 line, which it sticks to forever with 0.00, but I can't reliably repeat the behavior. However, if you vary the thinking times of the previous moves, or start with the position from scratch, it won't repeat the erroneous line. 5q1k/3Q2b1/7p/8/3pBP2/2p3PP/4K3/8 b - - 0 56 h5?
