Hi,

I don't know this book but if than an ctg book you are playing under ChessBase
GUIs, right?.

Unter ChessBase GUIs I saw differnet problems in a test match vs. Hiarcs 9
Friday. Ruffian losed three games on time. Never see that under Arena or
WinBoard that Ruffian losed on time. Not a problem from our team but absolutly
clear is that I prefer our own GUI for Ruffian 2.0.0.

Not to do with your own results if you like it to test Ruffian 2.0.0 not under
the own and for Ruffian main GUI.

Do you know the PGN Random option in Arena?
A great step for testing chess engines without opening books!
Maybe I am the once person which like this option :-))

The most of the readers from this message will or can not understand what I
write now if this group of users prefer other GUIs. This is totaly OK for myself
but I will say that I like it to see 100% clear results. Not to do with the work
from other GUI programmers but if I see that my favorite group of engines don't
work to 100% under a GUI I losed my interest to test this engines under a GUI
which have problems.

Best
Frank
