For auto232 I use, when I can, Nimzo732.gui.  It is basic and wont run all new
engines, but, it dont ask for the above. F6.gui is also good for slave, against
the newwer guis'  It is a mess, most of the time
You might invest in say H9 or F8, they seem to be more forgiving?

Chessbase is a pain, when auto232 is involved!
