IMO these people are just wrong. Java isn't very dangerous with IE and the

You are probably right when it is about the reasons of users to disable
JavaScript. But the imminent danger is still quite real.

If I am not completely mistaken, Omid David used to have a demo for JavaScript
dangers on one of his pages, I don't remember any other computerchess site to
show you though. But it is very easy to find out more with Google.
