Personally I prefer to use the book the programs are supplied with. But using a
book like remis.ctg isn't much different I think to using say the Nunn
positions. Sometimes they will not play or have a position that suits the
engine. However if enough games are played the engines strength will come out.

I expect as more games are played Ruffian will catch up. My guess if 24 games
are played the margin will be no more than what it currently is.
