That's a pity. > Kurt Hi Kurt, 1. What is the price for an other product in Switzerland where you must give Euro 50? 2. Do you have directly a dealer in Switzerland? Do you speak with this dealer, maybe he have interest on the Ruffian 2.0.0 CD-Rom. 3. The high prices for shipping are clear for me! Normaly prices for shipping in Germany: From Germany to Germany = Euro 1,53 or 1,44 (not sure) From Germany to Europe = Euro 4 From Germany to other countrys (shipping by air) = Euro 8 But this is for a dealer not interesting to send a CD-Rom in DVD case without: "TRANSPORT INSURANCE" The way "Schach Niggemann" go is absolutly right! Different persons speak from a WWW page with credit card possibilities and download selection! I am thinking a long time about it! The reason why I have no interest to create such an page is quit plain for me. I am sure that "All" persons which have interest on computer chess are honest persons. I am the typical computer chess mega power user and don't like any form of copy protections. I give the work by honest persons for honest persons without copy protections and this is the reason that I cann't not create a WWW download page. Now you can thinking in a minute without chess :-) about my words. Do you prefer as user of chess software a CD-Rom with copyprotection for a higher price (reason are shipping costs) or do you prefer as user of chess software a copy protection without high shipping costs. Do you prefer to hold a CD in your hand or do you prefer to get a engine by mail. Now you must thinking for the next times .... Your opinion and the opinion from other users in the World! After all the discuss about copy protection in the last 15 years I am sure that the way I go is right. I am sure that no persons have interest to betray Per-Ola and the other persons which work on this project. Per-Ola give his first engine for free, Martin give his GUI for free (we can also make Arena commercial, no problem) and I have a lot of costs to realize this new idea. We all assured of our willingness and if I speaking from myself I assured of my willingness since 6 years internet! If you have no interest to buy the CD is this OK for you and for us and Nobody must buy a computer chess CD-Rom. For this group of persons we have an offer!! Arena 1.0 or newer version with ASA password with the combination Ruffain 1.0.5 ... the strongest free available WinBoard engine in the World for FREE !! Best Frank
