Can anyone help. I'm confused with how to set up Crafty 19.08SE The config file reads: adaptive 400K 1M 96M 32M exit What should I change this to to use only 32M for Hash - divide everything by 4? The Wb2UCI file reads: ; CRAFTY 19.08 SE [ENGINE] Name=Crafty 19.08 SE Author=Hyatt Filename=Wb2Uci.exe [OPTIONS] Program=D:\winboard\Crafty 19.08 SE\wcrafty.exe logpath=D:\winboard\Crafty 19.08 SE\log bookpath=d:\winboard\Crafty 19.08 SE\book tbpath=c:\nalimovc noise=10000 InitString=resign 7 HashCommand=hash %iM WhiteScore=true OwnBook=true ShowThinkingMove=true ;RunIdle=true InitTime=5 Logfile=false Visible=Ponder,Hash,OwnBook,Extras,Logfile,ShowThinkingMove,Computer LevelExtend=Progressive [EXTRAS] GM1 Levels =<readfile>|combo|Default|nil|Alekhine|Byrne|Botvinnik|Capablanca|Fine|Fischer|Lasker| GM2 Levels =<readfile>|combo|Default|nil|Morphy|Nimzovich|Petrosian|Philidor|Stein|Tal|Standard|GM| Stronger Levels =<readfile>|combo|Default|nil|IM|High Master|Master|Low Master|Expert|Club|Player|Adroit| Weaker Levels =<readfile>|combo|Default|nil|Bishop|Knight|Woodpusher|Simpleton|Novice|Beginner|Pawngrabber|Fish|Krazy-Kamakazi| NalimovCache(MB)=cache %iM|spin|8|1|32 Pawn hash (MB)=hashp %iM|spin|3|1|24 Null Move =<readfile>|combo|Default|23|00|01|02|11|12|13|22|24|34|44| Start extension=u start|spin|30|0|60 Processors =mt |spin|1|1|2 Time Usage=usage %i|spin|0|-50|100 Search Depth=sd|spin|0|0|60 Root Beta Window=beta|spin|40|-10000|10000 Lazy cutoff=u lazy|spin|60|0|300 Intensity=intensity|spin|10000|1|10000 Noise=noise|spin|1|0|300000 Book Width=book width|spin|5|1|10 Book Random=book random|spin|1|0|1 Delay Move=dm|check|false|off|on Tournament Mode=mode|check|false|normal|tournament Crafty Log=log|check|false|off|on Use book=book|check|true|off|on Next question: if I want to use, say the Alekhine personality, what changes do I make to this file? Cheers for any help. Daz
