It's doing very well, I see lots of copies floating around on various online servers, and here on this forum I regularly see messages about Shredder. For now there's no proof that playing against a strong human in a match increases its popularity from zero to infinity. As Russell already indicated, the author, Stefan Meyer-Kahlen, is German. J.
