I've played 7 games against the Novag Star Diamond, giving myself 40 moves in 2.5 hours and the computer 40 moves in 2 minutes. I'm a weak class C player. 0 1/2 0 0 0 0 0 In 5 of the games the Star Diamond castled QS, in 1 game it didn't castle at all (you don't have to do much to beat me), and in the only game it castled KS I think it was "planning" to castle QS since it moved all its QS pieces first and only "changed its mind" when I started hurling my QS pawns forward. I castled KS myself in 5/7 games. Does anyone know precisely what program is running on the Star Diamond?
