15-minute games were played on Palm Tungsten C (400 MHz). Chess Tiger 15.1 was set to Normal engine style with 12MB hash table. ChessGenius 2.0 used its ARM engine and 8MB hash table. 20 games were played, alternating colors(Chess Tiger had white in Game 1). Here are the results: CT CG 0 - 1 0 - 1 0 - 1 0 - 1 0 - 1 0 - 1 1 - 0 1/2-1/2 1/2-1/2 0 - 1 1 - 0 0 - 1 0 - 1 0 - 1 1/2-1/2 1/2-1/2 1/2-1/2 0 - 1 1 - 0 1/2-1/2 So after losing the first six games, Chess Tiger scored 6 of the last 14 points. Not a bad showing considering that ChessGenius with its native ARM engine calculates approximately 30 times the number of positions per second more than Chess Tiger. Hopefully Christophe will soon offer a native ARM version of his Palm engine and Chess Tiger will regain its dominance of the Palm platform.
