Junior 8 after leaving book produces the following novelty from the Semi Slav opening: 16 a3. Move order: 1 d4 d5 2 c4 c6 3 Nf3 Nf6 4 Nc3 e6 5 e3 Nbd7 6 Bd3 d5c4 7 Bc4 b5 8 Bd3 Bb7 9 O-O a6 10 e4 c5 11 d5 c4 12 Bc2 Qc7 13 d5e6 f7e6 14 Ng5 Nc5 15 e5 Qe5 16 a3. The position had been reached 51 times previously and the normal move is 16 Re1. I have noticed Junior often plays a3 and h3 and this seems to be a major problem.
