I decided to succumb to the inevitable. I drove to south brooklyn toady after work to the russian neighborhood on a chess book hunt. In the second book store I visited, I found both volumes of Kasparov's book, for $11.50 each. So for twenty three bucks I have them both, and I will read them very, very slowly. Mike if you have some particular question about the second volume, I have it at hand so you can ask me. But don't ask me about amazon shipping practices! They still owe me a copy of Eingorn's book. n December 30, 2003 at 18:05:59, Mike Byrne wrote: >Amazon is now shipping pre-orders (just rec'd notification) -- they still don't >show any inventory - I wonder if they sold out their entire allotment of "First >Printing"?
