Subject: Chess Genius Classic lives on an island? And griping about interfaces

Is there some handy way to play this program against other programs?

Can Chess Genius Classic be played under any other GUI?

This is the tower of babel:

ChessMaster interface (some kind of modified Winboard)
Chess Genius interface
Chess Partner interface
Fritz interface
ChessAssistant interface
Winboard interface
UCI interface
MCS interface


It's absurd.  There needs to be some common interface so that every program can
play against any other, without hours and hours of tweaking stuff.

Now, I don't care about copy protection.  If the program writers want to make me
insert a thousand CDs then fine.  But I want to be able to play engine against
engine without having to reverse engineer anything.  FCOL.

IMO-YMMV.
