If there is really a style of play that exist which is consistently effective against computer programs, then why wasn't it employed by Garry Kasparov in his matches vs Deep Junior and Fritz? If these Strategies nullify the Playing Strength of Computers then why didn't Garry win the matches? Or do many still claim that the Three matches with the computers and Kasparov and Kramnick were all fixed? If for the sake of argument we agree that they were fixed then how do we explain the Result of Hiarcs vs Bareev (2700) , Hiarcs running on a mere XP2400 was able to hold the Seventh strongest Player to a four game draw! Not to mention the result of Rebel Vs Van Wely, and the numerous others. Something to consider i think? Some people around are still saying they believe the computers are still only 2400 based on the fact that they give aways draws, I can understand this thinking, but i believe it would be more accurate to say that it is impossible to Rate Computers in the Same way as we rate humans, rather then to say they are only 2400. It is just as rediculous to suggest they are only 2400 as it is to suggest they are 2800!
