I have advocated the first-phase use of win/draw/loss EGTs for some time: the
compression rate on them will also be interesting.
The first 7-man EGTs are being generated now - no, not KQQQQQK.
John Tamplin has shown that {EZ} EGTs to the DTZ metric can be less than 50% the
size of {EM} EGTs: cf the ACG10 paper in the Kluwer book.
My forecast, based on EN and JT file-sizes to date, is that:
a) 3-6-man DTM EGTs 'EM' will weight in at 1.40 TBytes
b) 3-6-man EZs and EdZ50Zs [diff between DTZ50 and DTZ] will be 0.50 TBytes
