"Even though both games were strategic affairs Fritz outplayed the GM" I'm not sure what ChessBase means by this quote. It seems Deep Fritz 8 did not outplay the GM strategicly at all in game 1. Rather as with most computer-human games the game was concluded by a blunder on the part of the GM. Not to say Fritz played badly, but in game one it certainly did not strategicly outplay the GM.
