Thanks Gunnar. I had not needed wb2uci before, so this is a new thing for me. I also notice that there is a built-in GUI construction language that both CA and Fritz understand (which is nice). Now that I know of its existence, maybe I can use it with some other native UCI engines that don't come with this file normally. Bob
