This was done as a "post-process" on the 10x8 values, not from the 8x8 values.
That is, on an 8x8 board all values are stronger.

My work was derived from Taylor's, which did not claim to provide exact values,
so neither could I. On the page I explain this as well.

I see then! My values are not based on just one equation, I made my own
adjustment (a "positional" merit thrown in at the end) which is part of the
score. This explains our differences. I try to come up with exact weights and
feed it to the program, rather than compute positional weights as other factors
change.
