Hello Kurt, very interesting tournament you having going, and surprisingly Fritz
8.0.0.26 is winning,

since the engines only start going after they are out of book, could these
surprise results be a testiment to the engines book LEARNING ability? rather
than their play?

I'm sure not all these engines have the same learning capability,
with remis.ctg they are stuck out of book in a draw position, and the moves can
go quite deep from my personel viewing,
