It is this kind of tactical play computers have serious trouble with. And too careful humans, btw. A five to seven ply forced exchange reaching a position where your opponents pieces are tangled up. After that it is puzzle chess. Where he tries to keep it all covered until it is untangled. If there was a reasonable way of measuring how many tempi he's back it would make a good eval term. And the synergy between a weak king and free tempi is there also. MvH Dan Andersson
