After checking some of the SSDF games, I also noticed some opening book moves made with ?. I noticed where Shredder had lost several games when playing a certain program, this is what got my attention. I noticed that Shredder would not play these opening moves if the "tournament book" was selected. I posted the findings, and asked Tony to reply. I dont remember a reply from anyone. I dropped it. If Tony answers that he is using tournament book, then I would assume this is a product of the learning feature. kburcham
