Hi Albert,

Yes, you are right about view mode. But when you are in the "position
operations" window, Ctrl-Ins cuts the position. I guess it is a natural enough
thing, but a while back it got me confused, since the help file gives that as
the main way of cutting a position to the clipboard, and later when I used
Ctrl-Ins in other contexts it was cutting the game (as it should) not the
position.
