I strongly disagree. I am mostly interested in discussions concerning chess programming, and it is very refreshing to learn of some of the viewpoints from those who program other chess-like games. In particular, I believe that chess and shogi programmers could learn a lot from each other, and it would be very interesting if some shogi programmers were present in our discussions. Tord
