I have no clue -- you tell me, I think it depends on the meaning of "so much" - you may bethinking in terms in of % of code ( that's fair), I was thinking that even if you used what I read that borrowed, although it may be a small %, that is a lot of code to use from somebody else IMO. 2. Did I say it was easy ? Did I say I was a programmer? Even though I did not say it was easy and I make no claims to being a programmer - imo, a competent chess programmer (CCC has many) would be able to program "Gothic Vortex" using Craftyy code just like you - but hey , maybe I am wrong. But the real reason I don't believe you will seea lot of copy cats, is that there is just little interest in doing what you are doing and there will no sustaining financial reward Gothic Chess. So you may very well may have this the entire "Gothic CHess" market to yourself. But then again I may be wrong there as well. Good luck with your project and I hope you have a lot of fun with it.
