Gothic Vortex got all the time 2 or 3 ply deeper as TSCPGothic. This is mainly because TSCPGothic doesn't has hashtables at the moment. TSCPGothic also has no mobility currently and this caused that it placed its pieces not so optimal. The game lasted 37 moves ... not a bad achievement after all. I liked playing this game. It is complexer as chess and I hope that I can learn a bit from it that I can use for Nullmover. I think that strong chessplayers and strong chessprogram will also play strong Gothic Chess if right tuned. The problem is only that all tuning parameters are different. All the best! Michel
