Not as of yet. Michel and I were chatting for a few hours, even after our game
wa over. Then I started to work on playing with the Bill Angel CapaGNU program.
The first two games were not intersting, since I was unaware that he had an
"EASY" mode turned on as default, and once he hit 6 plies he would stop
searching, even on longer time controls.

I set the max depth to 12 (which was never reached), turned the EASY mode off,
and gave it 40/60 on a 2.8 GHz P4 to Vortex's 1 move/min on a 2 GHz P4.

The game is shown here...

You might find it interesting to note that PIECE VALUES the subject of most of
the battle.

For example, take a look at this...

http://www.GothicChess.org/match_05.gif

Vortex allowed the trade of its own Queen + the b-pawn for the enemy Archbishop
and Bishop.

And interesting theoretical debate!

Later on, Vortex gave up 2N for Rook + Pawn, which I think is usually a good
idea in Gothic Chess since the Knights are 16% weaker on the 10x8 board than the
8x8 board by my estimation!

All in all, this game has hardly scratched the surface, and I am sure piece
values will be a more criticial factor in Gothic Chess than we may have
imagined.
