The answer is always the same: much too less games
played. Please also have a look at the running
"5moves 2004 tournament" and in particular to the
distinguishing results of the various series:

in one serie Fritz8 won, in the next one Fritz8
took last place and so on. You can compare the
results of all engines and notice many surprising
things.
