How are you running the hardware? NUMA (each cpu has 1/2 of memory as
local) or SMP (memory is interleaved across CPUS 1 page at a time)??

I _may_ have a quad opteron to use for CCT myself. AMD is trying to ship one
to me for evaluation, and they are trying to get it here prior to the
tournament, whether it will make it or not is unknown.

I'd like to have it here long enough that I can work on the kernel a bit to
get the NUMA support up and going. My previous opteron numbers had some
NUMA changes, but the O/S didn't support the NUMA library so there was some
more performance to be had, if I can find time to get Linux on the right
page with me...

Don't forget, "long" on a gcc made for opteron is 64 bits. "int" is 32.

%ld vs %d can be a headache.
