On my other PC I have been running Ruffian at game 60' now for about 10 days. The log is 20 mb or so and I've checked it and everything appears fine. Hash is always set correctly. I'm not sure how Ruffian sets it's hash whether 16M is a number it is set to note. As other engines Gandalf, ChessTiger for example both have a defined number. It's possible this is the same with Ruffian. Although the config simply says size in MB I remember with 1.0.0 there were issues with how Ruffian allocated hash. In my case even for lightning games which I run at 1'/1" inc I still set hash as 64M. Can't think of why I'd ever set it lower. Sarah.
