However, personally speaking, if someone asks a question and the answer is no, a simple no typically suffices (though, after being intrigued by the question I followed up with a possible workaround). Why be excessively verbose? A 'yes' may be all that is necessary, as well, although when people ask if something is possible, the implied question is often, "How?" Still holding grudges?
