This position was recently posted. [D]3B4/1r2p3/r2p1p2/bkp1P1p1/1p1P1PPp/p1P1K2P/PPB5/8 w It appears that Crafty 19.08 was the only engine that could solve this position, realizing a forced draw beginning with 1.Ba4+!...and after a series of forced checks, white then locks the position with 6.f5... and then no Black pieces can infiltrate the white position. This was supposedly done with a Pent 4 1.8 Gig/32MB Hash. Was that a different Crafty 19.08 engine then the one Downloadable from Chessbase right now? I now have the Crafy 19.08 engine from Chessbase.....Running an AMD Athlon XP 2600+ and it cannot solve this problem. Even if I force the moves up to the very last drawing move, it still does not play 6.f5...to lock the position and chooses to play 6.Bxa5.... Can someone explain this please? Thanks Brian
