Hi Gian-Carlo, I test your engine and played different games! It seems that your newer version 1.5a or newer settings very strong. On my newer Xeon Dual Deep Sjeng is very very strong! For me as older Winboarder a good deal to buy your CD-Rom! In the time where I wrote the Ruffian handbook I don't know this and you can be sure that in this case I have never written "Ruffian is the stronges WB engines". I am sure that Deep Sjeng is +- on the same level under my favorite time controls. The tournament from Leo Dijksman is interesting and your engine is on the first place in front of Ruffian 2.0.0! I believe I made here a little mistake with my sentence in my handbook! You can be sure that I will make a correction in the next handbook, maybe next year if Ruffian 3.0.0 is available! Best Frank
