As of 4:36 Central Standard Time, there were 3 Shredder 8 engines active on the playchess.com engine room. All three of the users had German flags. Perhaps things got distributed earlier in Chessbase's home country, or perhaps these folks got early distribution as vendors or Chessbase employees?
